Pre-Order Policy
1. Deposits and Securing Your Pre-Order
To secure your pre-order, a deposit of 10% of the total Recommended Retail Price (RRP) is required at the time of purchase.
Deposits are generally non-refundable, as your order is reserved specifically for you. However, at our sole discretion, we may consider refund requests in exceptional circumstances. Any approved refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
2. Cooling-Off Period
We want you to feel confident in your purchase. You have a cooling-off period of five (5) working days from the date your deposit is processed. During this time, you may cancel your pre-order for any reason and receive a full refund of your deposit.
Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to sales@sturli.com.
3. Pre-Order Pricing and Promotions
Any promotional pricing or offers available on pre-order items will be clearly displayed on the product page at the time of purchase.
Pre-orders are eligible only for promotions that are active when the order is placed. Unfortunately, promotions, discounts, or gifts introduced after your order has been confirmed cannot be applied retrospectively.
We reserve the right to modify or withdraw promotional offers at any time.
4. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
We will always do our best to provide accurate estimated arrival dates; however, these are estimates only and can be affected by manufacturing schedules, shipping delays, customs processing, and other factors beyond our control.
Please allow for a possible variation of up to four (4) weeks beyond the estimated arrival date. If the arrival of your order is delayed by more than four (4) weeks beyond the original estimate, you may choose to either keep your order in place or cancel it and receive a full refund of your deposit.
5. Final Payment
Once your pre-ordered item has arrived at our facility and is ready for dispatch, we will email you a final invoice for the remaining balance (90% of the total RRP).
Full payment is required before your order is shipped.
6. Completing Your Order
We kindly ask that the remaining balance be paid within ten (10) days of the final invoice being issued.
If payment has not been received within this timeframe and we have been unable to make alternative arrangements with you, we may cancel the order. In this situation, the deposit may be retained to help cover administrative and handling costs.
7. Shipping Information
Please ensure your delivery details are correct when placing your order. If your address changes before your order is dispatched, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing sales@sturli.com.
While we'll do everything we can to accommodate address changes before dispatch, we cannot be responsible for deliveries sent to outdated addresses if we have not been notified.
8. Cancellation by Sturli
In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply your pre-ordered item due to circumstances beyond our control, we may cancel your order and provide a full refund of any deposit paid.
9. Warranty
All products are covered by a 12-month warranty, commencing from the date of the final invoice.
10. Events Beyond Our Control
Neither party will be responsible for delays or failure to fulfil obligations caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, industrial action, supplier disruptions, or government restrictions.
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, our liability relating to any pre-order will not exceed the amount paid for the product.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
